Jacky was diagnosed with Leukaemia on the 21st of August 2008 in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. She had three sessions of chemotherapy up to Christmas eve when she came home for a break, before going back in to hospital a week later for an operation for an infection in her neck, coming home a week later before ging back in on the 9th of February 2009 for a bone marrow transplant, which sadly did not work. After seven months of pain suffering where on jacky never complained or even cried in front of us, she passed away on the 19th of September 2009 in the Northern General Paliative Care Unit. A big thank to every body involved in the care and treatment Jacky recieved and to the support given to my family, the Doctors Nurses even cleaners and tea persons A VERY BIG THANK YOU. Jacky love the year that has just past has felt like a life time we miss you so so much our lives are oh so empty we are getting on with life but it is so so hard. Tomorrow will be a day to reflect and just realise that it is 1 year on that we lost the person who was a lover a carer a helper some who looked after her family in a very special way she was a lovely lovely lady.

My aunty,
I always remember when we were little coming to visit and Aunty Jaqueline always gave us biscuits the nice ones too, she was always happy and smiley and I am sure she is happy and smiling at the perfect family she has now.
